Crista was born in Ventura, Ca. She studied Exercise and Sports Science as well as Psychology while attending the University of California Santa Barbara as a Regent's Scholar. She later attended California State University Northridge, where she earned a Master in Physical Therapy and graduated with distinction in 2011.
Crista has volunteered and achieved clinical experience in a diverse array of clinical settings. She gained experience in acute inpatient physical therapy at Community Memorial Hospital (2009). She also completed a complex internship in acute neuro-rehabilitation at Saint John's Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, where she worked with patients following acute stroke and/or unique complications associated with outpatient orthopedic surgeries (2010). Crista also completed a 16-week internship working with patients dealing with chronic pain. Additionally, as a member of Health Volunteers Overseas, Crista volunteered at Da Nang Hospital, the largest hosptal in the city of Da Nang, Vietnam (2011).
Crista's primary interest lies in outpatient orthopedic manual therapy. She has taken several continuing education courses to continue to advance her manual therapy techniques. Crista has been a member of the Telesis team since August of 2004.
